HR (Human Resource) is challenged today from many sides - cost pressure from outsourcing, an increasing volatile business environment, reduction of adminstrative/ routine transactions because of ERP (SAP, peoplesoft) implementations, M&A issues as well as an ever increasing amount of globalization shape the HR environment.
This brings up a situation, where HR (Human Resource) often has to newly define or realign its position against business lines. HR (Human Resource) has to prove that it is contributing to the business and adds value.
